At Waterline Boat Engineering, a leading company in the Balearic Islands specializing in the repair, installation, and maintenance of engines and generators for boats of all sizes, we are celebrating our tenth anniversary this year.
It all began in November 2014 when Óscar Martínez, after 13 years of hard work providing solutions and gaining experience in the repair and maintenance of marine engines and generators, decided to start his own independent project.
Over this decade, the company has grown from a nearly one-person operation to a team of highly qualified professionals specializing in all types of repairs, installations, replacements, and maintenance for marine engines and generators. We work with leading brands and use the most advanced equipment and machinery to ensure optimal service.
In 2017, Martínez took a significant step by creating a limited liability company (SL) and moving to larger premises, relocating from a small shop in Palma to a spacious and modern warehouse in the Polígono Son Castelló industrial area.
Over the years, at Waterline Boat Engineering, we have worked with all types of clients, from small private boats and fishing vessels to large yachts and major shipyards. We are an authorized service provider for leading brands such as Scania, Steyr, Yanmar, Kubota, FPT, Deutz, and more recently, John Deere alongside Sea Energy, a key partner for Waterline given its integration in the yacht industry.
We have the necessary equipment, tools, and official programs to conduct the most accurate and precise diagnostics for the engines and generators of the brands we work with. And, of course, we always use original spare parts and components for each model of marine engine and generator.
At Waterline, we are authorized to operate throughout the Balearic Islands by Ports de Balears, Servicios Técnicos Portuarios (STP Shipyard), Astilleros de Mallorca, and the Office of Business Activity Coordination (OCAE). Our professionals are available to our clients wherever necessary, traveling to work in the main ports, marinas, shipyards, yacht clubs, and other maritime facilities across the Balearic Islands, as well as any location in the Mediterranean.
